met up with a girl i rarely have the chance to meet. ate ajisen ramen and then ajitei kyoto sabo. the latter is not very nice, most probably wouldn't go again. haha

talked a lot and ate quite a lot too, but we only took about 3 photos? lol post them up another day..

why does it seem that everyone likes to compare? cant you just be content with what you have, and try not to be unhappy over the little you cant have?

seems that till now, i still don't know how to treat you right, the way you want me to.

it all started cause yinjie's house is undergoing repainting today, and she wants to escape the toxic fumes. so she smsed hong and i and the other girls to go out, but only the two of us can make it. and we decided to play mahjong and bake. but we could find no 4th leg, so we ended up baking peppermint oreo choc brownie and apple crisp. yay!!

met the girls on 23rd to celebrate christmas, as well as to exchange presents. supposed to meet at 7pm, but only managed to have everyone at 8pm. haha atrocious.

weeinn complained she hasn't taken any pictures with christmas tres, so we oblige her. mad!

went to marina square imperial treasure for dinner, and everyone had la mian, then we had xiao long bao, pumpkin pastry and some ball thing with mashed banana and red bean inside. cheap and good! =) everyone was quite full after that, except shell and yinjie. which shows that people who are thin eat alot! haha

then it was gift exchange! first year shell participated, i think. and turns out hong's present was not as scary we thought it was, got us panicking haha


after that we went to harry's at esplanade to have a drink. but weeinn and i had only non-alcoholic drinks. alcohol doesn't taste nice, bitter de! but they have nice names, some of which are quite funny. leen had sex on the beach, whereas tingyan had a strong drink called flaming lamborghini, where the drink must be finished in one go after being set aflame. haha so scary!


this last photo is a lame one. since 5 of us wore black, we tried to act fierce a la the mafia, and found it so hard. haha

lazy blog more le.. except that hong and i baked on xmas eve.

oreo cupcakes, edible but not very up to standard. and people say i getting domesticated, since i getting interested in baking stuff, makes me sound like a pet! lol

the drama song always stirs up fond memories, and to look at the cds blog, i realised there's so much i miss. the crazy scripting sessions for drama camp, the many rehearsals, and all the fun. but most importantly, ever since i left ahscds, i don't think i saw such unity anywhere else. that unity which struck a chord, and still resonates within me today.

going out for christmas celebrations with the girls! yayness, seems quite some time since all 7 of us met. dinner plus pub, which i ain't too keen, but think i should at least try once. haha and as for 2b gathering, i don't have the energy to ask everyone for a date, place and activity which suits all. so i shall not do anything.

in a way, i'm glad this year is drawing to an end, and that there are no more 21st birthdays to celebrate. then perhaps next year there'll be more energy to organise outings.

seems like there's not much else to blog.. except that hong won quite spectacularly yesterday at mahjong. haha

i guess it'll be nice to be asked for a date in advance, once in a while. otherwise, I can't expect to give up all my time to you, nor include you in all my plans.

i do sometimes just want to stay home and do nothing, instead of traveling 1.5 hours to do nothing.

even though i just said goodbye, i miss you already.

i feel like fainting. why i get myself into this kind of thing? aiyo.

it's been raining these few days, and instead of staying home to sleep, i've been out alot. playing mahjong, watching movies, eating and eating. from egg tart to cookie to custard bao to teppanyanki to brownie, hahaha fat la!

today is the only day all 4 of us are simultaneously at home and awake. then tomorrow, i'll continue to wake up to an empty house, and come back to a sleeping house. blea, a bit sad. oh well

sometimes i wonder if two people do more harm than good to each other because they're in love. but perhaps its their love that makes them vulnerable, so they say and do things that they don't mean.

down with the flu, and infecting almost everyone in close contact. work's finally ended, yippee! but i am reluctant to plan anything or go out of my usual contact circle. adopting a wait-and-see attitude, let things happen themselves. if they don't, then too bad. i shan't care very much.

must let fish nibble my smelly feet some time next week, and i want to get fitter (lol). slack and do nothing would be ideal too. the thought of 5 months work starting in Jan puts me off everything.

went for IA interview today, super far, at jurong east. but i think it went smoothly la, which is good and also bad. good that if i get offered then no need to worry for IA; bad that it's so far, travelling will kill me.

23rd xmas plans are set to change. but to go pub, i am not allowed lehz. how how how? i want play mahjong on friday. don't cheat my feelings or else i cheat your money!

xmas is coming!!! yay! but i don't know what presents to get! though i got a cute xmas present already! hee=p

met the girls yesterday for dinner and coffee. had a lot of fun talking about school, work and money. gossiped about people, and updated about our lives. haha and it's not surprising that lala is in lalaland. haha and stupid yj eat too full until gastric pain cannot come, and cheat us go eat ramen ten- which is not nice, should bill her. =p
at starbucks, weeinn came up with stupid theory, if you're cold, eat ice cream to bring your body temperature to that of the surroundings. haha lame! i think it only applies to cold-blooded animals la..

i have to work from 6th dec to god knows when, and maybe saturdays too. which means i'm going to be very busy. grr

i dislike planning things, especially when nobody seem to give certain answers or valuable inputs.

i'm very lazy to blog. but i guess i should be doing something about my lack of entries.

met gen on friday to have a girls' chat, something we've not done for half a year (gosh). went shopping, walking until our legs were tired and our pockets broke, before eating dinner at ichiban boshi at wisma. the things we talked about were quite random, from her work to our friends to our families to our lives, but it is nice to be able to be so random.

asked gen what makes her love a guy。and she said it's the little things,一点一滴累积的小事. and i agree it's just so true. i believe you cant love a person for only one thing, and that love does not occur overnight. you have to slowly discover more about a person, before you fall in love. the process of loving a person is so hard, yet so simple. you just have to slowly let nature take its course, and follow your heart. and if you meet the right person and you put in enough effort, you may just find yourself the love of your life, which is such an enviable thing.

exams over means i have no enthusiasm to blog suddenly. haha =p
looking at companies for Industrial Attachment, since I wasn't selected for first round. kinda sian, but expected actually. just hope can get through second round.

emotionally unstable the past couple of days. but now all's fine, so nothing much to worry about. i suppose you will inevitably become vulnerable to the one you love. so long as you've chosen to give you heart away to the right person, a little vulnerability is perhaps a small thing in exchange for warmth and trust.
